The following 2 illustrations of mine were published in The Feb and Jan issues of Grassroots, a monthly journal published by the Press Institute of India.
For an article about AIDS affected women in villages who crusade against the stigma associated with them.
For an article on how difficult it is for children to testify against child abuse.
And on that hopeful note this mini series ends... All jokes and characters used in these strips were non-fictional and any resemblance to real life people was purely intentional! (And y'all took it in the right spirit I hope). No animals were harmed during the making of this series though my ego took quite a beating.
For the next 10 days I'll be putting up a mini-comic-series with me starring in it.Right, megalomaniac, you say.Guilty as charged. But hey, most bloggers write prose and poetry that is largely personal so from now on I'm going to compensate for not writing 'my life' posts by putting up a comic instead.
Ok,so valentine's day is just around the corner so I hope the theme of the series is obvious... what better way to start off, than at the heartbreak hotel. It gets funnier I promise.
